Brickworld Chicago 2023

In June 2023 I attended the world renowned Brickworld convention in Chicago. It is my second year attending and it didn't disappoint.

This Black Falcon Knight was my latest creation before the convention. 

I worked on it until the very last minute, which was worth it because it was people's favorite build.

It is a large representation of the iconic LEGO horse with the Black Falcon Knight at 1:3 scale.

It measures approximately 3 feet x 2.5 feet x 1 foot.

This model won the Best Creature award.

Another model I brought was Campfire Songs. I really liked how I had the chance to show the campfire glowing when the lights were turned off during the "World Of Lights" event, which is meant to show the builder's creations with lighting systems.

It was nominated for Best Vignette Creation.

I also brought my accurate interpretation of Tolkien's Bag End.

Jake Sully from the movie Avatar was also very appreciated by everyone and was nominated for Best Pop Culture MOC.

This convention gave me the opportunity to share my work, and I appreciate the support I recieved from many builders, LEGO Masters and the general public.
