Walking City

This is my largest (6' tall) and most satisfying artistic creation so far. It won "Best in Show" at the Brickworld Chicago 2024 convention.

I incorporated colorful dwelings, lighting and movement to give the impression of a living city, and not just a sterile building.

Also I included minifigures and funny little scenes, to show that it was indeed occupied as residences in a bustling city.

There is movement  on the windmills, elevator, flying birds, balloons and the golden brick.

I designed it so the lights shine through every window of every house.

It is in sum a living city, holding the golden brick which represents the  building block and foundation of every LEGO creation.

I hope that you like it as much as I enjoyed creating it.

This build allowed me to be recognized as a professional LEGO builder and I hope it's the first of many builds. Received Best in Show award and Best Individual Large Display awards at Chicago brickworld 2024.
